Karimunjawa islands in the Java Sea is included in the district of Jepara, Central Java. With an area of 1500 hectares of land and waters ± 110 000 ± acres, Karimunjawa now developed into a fascination Marine Parks that start much-loved local and foreign tourists.
Based on the legend that circulated in the islands, the island was discovered by Sunan Muria Karimunjawa. The legend tells of Sunan Muria are concerned about the mischief his son, Amir Hasan.
